Affordable Care

Psychotherapy, like any meaningful endeavor to improve the quality of one's life, is an investment. However, skilled care may feel inaccessible due to cost. If paying for treatment is a concern, working with a pre-licensed associate may be the answer. These associates have completed their graduate education and are now seeing clients under my supervision. Treatment fees typically range between $150-$175 per session.

Tim earned his Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Los Angeles, and completed  clinical training at The Maple Counseling Center, where he worked with adults navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, and severe mental illness. As a society member of LAISPS (Los Angeles Institute and Society for Psychoanalytic Studies) Tim continues to train in psychoanalytic psychotherapy.

Tim's related professional experience includes working as an LSAT tutor, where he helps his clients navigate analytical reasoning, nuanced problem-solving, and manage their test-related confidence and anxiety. As both a therapist and a tutor, Tim's focus is on examining the ways in which people cope with stressful mental and emotional situations.

Tim is particularly attuned to the ways people struggle to resolve old wounds and consequently struggle to build happier lives. Feeling better is not just about changing one's behavior - it's about trying to understand how you got here in the first place.

Tim is deeply invested in the capacity for growth and change at any point in one's life, and is able to see teens, adults, and seniors both at his West L.A. office and via telehealth.
